A School for Floral Design

Boston's Back Bay

About the School

A Real School for Floral Design

Rittners School of Floral Design is a full-time educational facility in Boston's Back Bay devoted entirely to teaching the craft of floral art. Unlike a flower shop that hosts occasional classes, the school is purpose-built for students who want a thorough, hands-on education in working with flowers.

Programs are kept small by design — limited enrollment means every student gets genuine hands-on time and real feedback from the instructor. Whether your goal is a professional credential or a deeper creative skill, there is a program format here to match your schedule and ambitions.

  • Hands-On Learning Every course centers on working directly with fresh flowers. You build skills arrangement by arrangement, not by observing from a distance.

  • Small Classes by Design Enrollment is intentionally limited so each student gets personal attention, meaningful feedback, and time to develop their own eye for design.

  • Online Options Available Can't make it to the Back Bay studio? The school offers online floral design courses so students in Brookline, Cambridge, or anywhere across the country can learn from Rittners.
